Sunday Service Childcare

bigstock-Mother-s-And-Kid-s-Hands-In-A--55308527 [Converted]Focusing on “Families Worshipping Together,” all children are encouraged to attend either service at Salem with their parents. There is a special message for all children during the worship service. Additionally, activity packets are available for the children located in the back of the sanctuary on the sound system side. They are filled with coloring books, crayons and other activities. Don’t forget to return them at the end of worship for the next child.

Salem also has a nursery in the South Hall for infants and a joined but separated area for toddlers available during the 9:00am Service. Parents are welcome to stay in the nursery with their child and listen to the service on the speaker or leave your child with our caretakers so you can attend the service. In the event there is no caretaker in the nursery, please notify the attendant at the Welcome Center and we will be sure to provide someone for you.

Salem takes the safety of all children seriously and has recently revised the Salem UMC Child Abuse Prevention and Reporting Policy.
